Street Fighter

Capcom

Street Fighter is Capcom's foundational fighting series, built around one-on-one matches, special-move inputs, spacing, timing, and learning a character deeply. Street Fighter II established the genre's modern vocabulary, while Alpha, III, IV, V, and 6 each capture a different competitive era. The story exists, but it is not the useful way through the series, so this guide groups the games by fighting-system generation.
